Director: Thomas D. Keefer (Tom)
There are several activities within the SIR's organization, which everyone should take advantage of, by participating in one or more of them. Involvement with the with the SIR's activities is another benefit of membership. One may belong to as many as one wishes. There is no mandatory attendance required at any of the various activities, but it would be polite to notify the Chairman a few days in advance, if one can not attend. Because the facilities in which some of these activities meet require a rental fee, there may be a charge each time a certain activity meets. The amount of such charge varies with the activity.
The Activity Groups are as follows (Click on the button at the left of the activity for details):
| Activity | Chairman | |
| Amateur Radio | Warren Struven | |
| Bowling Group | Bill Saavedra | |
| Bridge Group | George Thompson | |
| Computer Group | Rick Dusine | |
| Digital Imaging Group | Robert M. Melvin | |
| Dominoes Group | John Danenhower | |
| Economics Research Group | Mort Levinson | |
| Fishing Group | Richard Cameron | |
| Gardening Group | Harold Lembright | |
| Genealogy Group | George L. Henderson | |
| Golfing Group | Michael J. Murphy | |

All these groups have members that range from experts to novices, and the groups provide entertainment and instruction for everyone. The branch membership should appreciate the time, effort, and imagination that the creators and current chairmen have invested in these groups for making them so popular. Each group needs help in keeping the group running, without which they would die. Whatever one's talent may be, please consider using it in helping out one of these groups. It would be appreciated.
If there is any other interest that one would like to start as a new activity, one is more than welcome to do so. Just notify the Activity Chairman of your ideas, and he will help in forming the new activity.
